Warm greetings to you all,
We were treated to joy and a warm spirituality last Sunday when Noisy Mass took the main 10.30 Mass in their own style. The youngest members mixed among the oldest, bringing invitations in the manner of the Gospel reading and the chance for us to make our offering before the eucharist. For many, this is a rare chance to see Noisy Mass in its generous inclusiveness - welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds into the church and - most importantly - into a journey of faith. Thank you to all involved.
This weekend on Saturday, we throw our doors open in another fashion and welcome pets and their owners for a short and informal service of thanksgiving, and to share in God’s blessing for all creation. Details are below.
And on Sunday evening, the choir goes on mini-tour, to W14, to sing the Mass at St John the Baptist Holland Road. I will preach, and the two parishes will rejoice additionally in their musical director, Luca. Again, details below.
Until I next see you, with prayers and blessings,
Sarah
