Greetings to you all,
Bishop Lusa appeared to enjoy his time with us last Sunday and it was remarkable how many of us managed to exchange some conversation with him in the time over coffee. His preaching on forgiveness was really compassionate, fresh and well worth a listen - which you can still find on our livestream, via the website.
Our newsletter photo continues this week as our Quiz approaches - this is nearing the last time to be sure of getting a ticket or table of tickets. Drop Janet a line as indicated to book.
As you may well know, I will be away from the parish following my wedding on 19 September, and will return to our collective life on 7 October. My email out of office has details of who to contact in my absence. I will be glad of your prayers as Julian and I approach our wedding on Saturday and our first weeks of married life together travelling in Sri Lanka - as I indeed will pray for you all while I am away in that spiritual and inspiring country.

We welcome Jane Gee as our new Office Manager.
The Office Hours have changed and are now as listed at the foot of this newsletter each week.
Mon & Wed 9am - 1pm
Tues & Thurs 1 - 5pm
Friday is the only weekday the office is not open.

Some of you will be doing this for schools, groups, and clubs. If so - ok! But if you’re not elsewhere, then please sign up. Sarah has raised £120 in the last 18 months ;)

Light refreshments will be on hand, so please call or email the office (if you can) to indicate if you intend to be there.
We can of course feel a bit anxious or uncertain about these things - that’s very understandable - come and give it a try and be sure of a warm and supportive welcome.
Thanks to our grant from Ealing Deanery, we have now installed a defibrillator in the hall corridor/foyer for all users of the premises and their peace of mind.
Training will be provided to key people and onward training is possible. Please wait for further news.

Ealing Half Marathon This year on Sunday 27 Sept - a reminder that the roads are closed past the church from 8.30-10.30. We will have Mass nonetheless!
Donations for Food Pantry
Please consider donating items from the list in church. Donations may be left after church on Sundays or during Food Pantry hours on Wednesdays. If you would like to give a monetary donation specifically to the food pantry, please mark your green envelope ‘Food Pantry’, or use this link.
Small amounts of fresh produce can be accepted ONLY when the Pantry is open on Wednesdays.
