A warm, generous acoustic that ensembles and record labels return to.
St Barnabas offers a warm, generous acoustic well suited to choral and instrumental recording, alongside a concert-standard organ and an excellent Bösendorfer nine-foot concert grand of 92 keys, previously used at the BBC's Maida Vale Studios. Its surroundings are exceptionally quiet for a London church, and professional ensembles and record labels record here regularly.
Local ensembles are welcome at reduced rates, and either the Lady Chapel or the Choir Vestry can serve as a control room. Organ and piano tuning can be arranged for an additional cost.
