Weekly News — 21 June 2026
Many thanks to everyone who came to our Summer Fayre last Sunday. To the many who set up behind the scenes on Saturday and Sunday, and packed away and counted money; to those who baked cakes and sorted toys and set up games and crafts; to the food team and the bar team; and to our fabulous Band and to Michael who collectively kept the music going throughout.
Our Summer Fayre was a great success - and even blessed with fair weather! Overall, we also raised around £2000 for church funds.
It was a pleasure to welcome the Brentham Society once again as we build stronger links.
We enjoyed before it a wonderful Patronal Mass, with glorious flowers thanks to the Team, and a sermon full of a sense of place and our calling from Mthr Jeanny, and intercessions from youth group and profound musical offerings.
We take things a little slower this week!
with prayers and best wishes,
Mother Sarah

Bring and Share Lunch - Sunday 5 July Come and celebrate Nick’s 40 years of St Barnabas with a whole parish lunch after the 10.30 Mass! For details and contributions for the Bring and Share please contact Sue Proud (if you’re not in contact with her, please let Mthr Sarah know and she will introduce you).
Photo of Nick - as ever on the move and fixing things!
Clavinova seeks a good home. We have one surplus clavinova (electric piano) which we would like to re-home. If you know someone who needs a practice keyboard at home, and would welcome something compact and moveable - and always in tune! - then please take a look at it in the Lady Chapel. One or two keys are imperfect, but we hope it is useful for FREE. Please speak to Mthr Sarah, or to Ministry Team
Giving to St Barnabas - we need your help!
What does St Barnabas give you, that nothing else can?
WE NEED YOUR FINANCIAL HELP.
Being part of something is a fabulous thing. Belonging includes helping in practical ways
- just like any valued relationship.
It takes 5 minutes to set up regular giving - and the benefit is limitless to this community.
To get set up, or to review your regular giving, our easy form can be filled in HERE
Thank you!
