Choirs
Music plays an integral part in the worship at St Barnabas. We are fortunate to have well-established and thriving choirs that lead our worship and provide an enhancement to our encounter with the Divine during services.
The Choir of St Barnabas’ Church, Ealing
Our repertoire is rooted in the Anglican Choral Tradition and the choir sings at the Mass every Sunday at 10.30am (bar the first Sunday of the month, sung by the Gospel Choir). In advance of Mass, the choir rehearses from 9.30am. The choir also sings for other additional festivals and at Choral Evensong services. If you are interested in joining, or would like some more information about the choir, please email the Director of Music (harry.guthrie@barnabites.org).
Choral Singing for Children
We welcome children keen on choral singing to join our Choir. The young people rehearse additionally every Sunday following Eucharist from 12.00-12.30pm and sing with the Choir at Mass on Sundays as well as at Evensong. The RSCM learning and awards scheme is encompassed in this opportunity. This singing programme is open to boys and girls aged from 9 years old. If you would like your child to join or would like more information, please contact the Director of Music (harry.guthrie@barnabites.org).
