Fenella Humphreys (violin) was brought up in Ealing, and studied at the Purcell School and the Guildhall School and completed her studies in Dusseldorf . Over the past few years she has given concerto and recital performances at many prestigious venues. She was awarded Making Music's Philip and Dorothy Green Award for Young Concert Artists in 2005, and her duo with pianist Helen Reid was chosen for the Park Lane Group's 2006 series at London 's South Bank Centre. She is a member of the Lawson Piano Trio.

Mary Hofman (viola) studied at the Guildhall School of Music, and Trinity College Cambridge, before going to the USA to complete her studies with Ida Levin. Since her return last year, she has performed with numerous orchestras as well as appearing as guest leader of the Edinburgh Quartet. Forthcoming concerts include a series of chamber performances in California as a winner of the Maestro Academy award, and Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in New York State .

Rebecca Knight (cello) studied at the Junior Royal Academy and at the Guildhall School with Louise Hopkins. During her time at the Guildhall she appeared at the Wigmore Hall and won a place on the LSO string scheme. She has played concertos with various orchestras, and performed in several prestigious chamber music festivals, and played in the BBC Proms. She has a particular interest in Russian music and has studied Russian in St Petersburg .

Meherban Gillett (double bass)**

Hugh Mather (piano) studied the piano and organ from an early age, gaining the FRCO diploma and ARCM piano performers diploma. He continued his piano studies with James Gibb at the Guildhall School of Music. He pursued a medical career and was Consultant Physician at Ealing Hospital from 1982 to 2006. He has now retired to concentrate on his musical activities. He has given many concerts in West London and elsewhere as concerto soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. He is Chairman of the Friends of St Mary's Perivale.
