St Barnabas Summer Proms 2009

We present the second series of St Barnabas Summer Proms from Monday July 20th to Friday August 7th, with 12 concerts - 9 evening and 3 lunchtime concerts. They feature well-known local musicians playing attractive programmes, with popular masterpieces by famous composers, suitable for summer evenings. This year the emphasis is on immortal chamber music masterpieces by Mozart, Schubert, Brahms and Dvorak. We conclude with a traditional 'Last Night of the Proms' on Friday August 7th, with full festivities ! Concerts are held 'in the round' to heighten audience involvement and enjoyment, and to ensure that all the audience are reasonably close to the musicians (see photo below).

Admission for all the evening events is £10
(except for the 'Last Night of the Proms' which is £15)
Young people 16 and under half price.
Lunchtime concerts are free with voluntary donations.

No pre-booked tickets are necessary for any concert.
Just turn up !
