Fenella Humphreys (violin) was brought up in Ealing, and studied at the Purcell School and the Guildhall School and completed her studies in Dusseldorf . Over the past few years, she has given concerto and recital performances at many prestigious venues. She has been awarded Making Music's 2005 Philip and Dorothy Green Award for Young Concert Artists, and her duo with pianist Helen Reid was chosen for the Park Lane Group's 2006 series at London 's South Bank Centre. She has given many concerts at St Marys Perivale and St Barnabas over the past 10 years.
Helena Nicholls (violin) studied at the Junior Guildhall, read music at Cambridge University and subsequently studied at the Royal Academy of Music, where she won various prizes and awards. She now works as a freelance violinist, enjoying professional engagements as an orchestral leader, soloist, and chamber musician, with a particular interest in contemporary music.
Emmanuella Reiter (viola) was born in Jerusalem , and studied violin and viola at the Nice Conservatoire and at the New England Conservatory, Boston . She has participated in many festivals worldwide, and performed solo and chamber music throughout Europe and the USA . She is a member of London Philharmonic Orchestra and is the Director of the Jigsaw Players Chamber Music Series in Wimbledon .
Matthew Huber is from the UK , and is studying with Steven Doane at the Eastman School of Music, New York. He has played recitals in Europe, Scandinavia, and the USA , and studied with several of the world's leading cellists. He is a regular attendee of the International Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove, Cornwall , and has been invited back to Open Chamber Music there in September 2009. Matthew plays on a rare cello by Francesco Ruggieri, Cremona , 1685
Alexis White studied at the Menuhin School , the Royal Northern College of Music and the Eastman School of Music in USA , where she graduated in 2003. She won many prestigious prizes and scholarships, most notably First Prize in the 7th Noyers International Piano Competition in France , and has given recitals and concerto performances in prestigious venues throughout the UK and abroad. In 2004 she reached the finals of YCAT held at the Wigmore Hall and featured for several years as a Countess of Munster Artist. She now lives in Ealing.
