Sarah Williamson (clarinet) studied at the Purcell School , the Junior Royal Academy and the Paris Conservatoire, where she graduated with the Premier Prix and ‘Laureate', the highest honour. She won the Wind section of the BBC Young Musician competition in 2002, and went on to win second prize in the Eurovision Competition for Young Musicians, playing the Copland clarinet concerto. Since then she has toured throughout the world and made her debuts at the Wigmore Hall and South Bank Centre, and now has a busy career, performing with various groups across Europe . She has a special interest in contemporary music, and has premiered several important new works. She is the recipient of the Tillett Trust and Kirkman Concert Society Awards.

Pauline Lowbury (violin) studied at the Royal College of Music and the Juillard School , New York. Since her Wigmore debut in 1982 she has combined a busy career as soloist, chamber musician and orchestral leader. She has appeared as concerto soloist with the English Chamber Orchestra and CBSO and other orchestras, and she led the Britten Sinfonia for 12 years. She has premiered and recorded sonatas written for her by Robert Simpson and Matthew Taylor, broadcast on TV and Radio 3 and worked with the Nash Ensemble, Endymion and the Lowbury Piano Trio.

Clara Biss (violin) studied at Wells Cathedral School and the Royal College of Music, graduating with first class honours, and she completed her training at the Guildhall School . She won various awards, including two prizes in the Royal Overseas League Music Competition. She now has a busy career as an orchestral and chamber musician. She has been a member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for the past 4 years, and a member of the Endymion String Quartet since 2004. She has performed in many prestigious venues and festivals.

Matthew Jones (violist) is violist of the Bridge Duo and the Debussy Ensemble. Recent recital and chamber music venues include the Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, St. David's Hall and the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing . He was a member of the Badke String Quartet when they won the 2007 Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition. He has recorded five CDs, and gave the world premiere of Derek Ball's Viola Concerto last year. He was a guest performer at the 2008 Menuhin Violin Competition and artist-in-residence at the 2008 Vale of Glamorgan Festival. He is also a composer, conductor, and teacher of the Alexander Technique and Yoga.

Simon Williamson (cello) studied at the Purcell School and gained a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, where he studied with Alexander Boyarsky. He was awarded prizes in both the Anna Shuttleworth and Davidoff Cello Competitions at the RCM, He participated in masterclasses with several eminent cellists. He graduated in 2003, and since then has enjoyed an active career as a Chamber Musician, having performed at the Purcell Room, St Martin in the Fields, and St John Smith's Square.

   

Location : St Barnabas church is on the corner of Pitshanger Lane and Denison Road , in North Ealing. Its postcode is W5 1QG. Parking is always available on neighbouring streets, and there are no meters or residential parking schemes. The nearest tube stations are Ealing Broadway (on the Central and District Lines) and Hanger Lane (on the Central Line). From Ealing Broadway, use the E2 or E9 bus services. Taxis are also available outside Ealing Broadway tube station. The church is a 15 minute walk along Brunswick Road from Hanger Lane tube.
