Kokila Gillett (violin) commenced her violin studies at Junior Guildhall, where she won the 2001 Lutine Prize and was a scholar at the Purcell School . She won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, studying with Felix Andrievsky and graduated with first class honours in 2006. She won several prizes at the RCM and elsewhere, and reached the string finals of Royal Over-Seas Music competition. She has performed at prestigious venues in London and elsewhere, including the Royal Festival Hall and Wigmore Hall, and played on Channel 4. She now has a busy career as a freelance orchestral and chamber musician.

James Sherlock (piano) studied at Chetham's School of Music , Eton College , Trinity College , Cambridge and continues to study the piano with Joan Havill. He is an exceptionally versatile musician, working regularly as pianist, conductor and organist. He won the keyboard prize in this year's Royal Overseas League Competition, and has given recitals around the UK . He was a winner of 2007's BBC Fame Academy : The Next Generation. He won the Gold Medal in the Marcello Galanti International Organ Competition in 2005, and has given organ recitals throughout the UK and Europe . As a conductor, he directs the Lea Singers, and has also directed Cambridge University Musical Society Orchestra, the Royal Academy Players and the choir of Trinity College Cambridge.

   

Location : St Barnabas church is on the corner of Pitshanger Lane and Denison Road , in North Ealing. Its postcode is W5 1QG. Parking is always available on neighbouring streets, and there are no meters or residential parking schemes. The nearest tube stations are Ealing Broadway (on the Central and District Lines) and Hanger Lane (on the Central Line). From Ealing Broadway, use the E2 or E9 bus services. Taxis are also available outside Ealing Broadway tube station. The church is a 15 minute walk along Brunswick Road from Hanger Lane tube.
